A series of dots, ocular anatomy, or objects found in nature are often engraved into blown and slumped glass forms by artist, Sean O'Neill. O'Neill works with shades of gray, black and white. His forms are minimal, yet convey a great deal about patterns found in nature observed through the lens of daily life. With glass as his canvas and several cold-working techniques intended to reproduce the erosive effects of nature, the artist makes a subtle statement about the effects of time through his art, ultimately creating something aesthetically pleasing.
