To hold what is sacred from the vast cosmos to even what is small in our daily lives, I am never
lost on the wonder of the stars and to the lives of the busy bees and wasps and how they
make their homes and nectar. I revere how I can look to the stars and feel anything is possible
as well as being humbled.
To think we - all of life - literally come from the stars. Every
element, the building blocks of life, comes from the stars. We are literally and figuratively of the
stars. From wasp nests to honey combs and to you and I, we are just as expansive as this
celestial landscape we get to admire every evening.
As an artist, I thrive in pulling together various elements and materials weaving together a story
of wonder in my mixed media works. Metaphors speak at varying volumes while all being
instrumental in whats being conveyed.
