Querencia

Before we were given names, we were shaped by the land. Before history marked our existence, we carried our memories.  Querencia is about the place where the soul returns when everything else falls away.  It's a meditation on inheritance, on belonging, on the invisible threads that bind us to those who came before us.  These paintings live in the space between history and myth, between the seen and the remembered, a liminal space between absence and presence, between the stories we carry and the story still waiting to be told.
