Though working in distinct mediums, both artists explore the spaces between reality and imagination. Rimi Yang’s richly layered paintings blend figures and abstraction, drawing from Eastern and Western traditions to explore identity, memory, and human connection. Shelley Muzylowski Allen’s expressive glass sculptures celebrate the enduring relationship between animals, mythology, and culture, transforming horses, gazelles, and other creatures into powerful symbols of wonder and storytelling.
